In a BIG way. I live in a small community, and money that could be spent in stores etc ... simply goes into the slots, and thus, the government's ever - greedy pocket. It's usually the moderate to low-income families that are addicted to these stupid machines ... ones that usually can't afford to be playing them in the first place. I was shocked, when I learned that the government claims 60% of the revenue from slot machines!!

BTW: Can you tell I'm a reformed slot machine addict? ... lol.

Tribal Casinos earn revenue from slots for their communities.

NOT AS ADVERSELY AS MOST WOULD THINK. THE GOOD IS NEW JOB CREATION AND NEW TAX BASE AND POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AROUND VENUE. . BAD IS THE POSSIBLE ADDICTION FOR THOSE WHO CAN NOT AFFORD TO LOSE THE $$ AS IT BECOMES EASIER DUE TO PROXIMITY.(THEY WOULD LOOK TO GAMBLE SOMETHING IN SOME WHERE ELSE ANYWAY, JUST MAKES IT EASIER)

Must put in more money ... must spend money to make money ... if I keep playing I'm bound to win sometime ...

Your community starts to hear this kind of mumbling more often.
