Oh God I hope not!
I'm 45 years old, put up for adoption by my 18 year old mother who already had a 16 year old daughter. My adopted dad was my uncle, and he was brain damaged due to exposure of radiation, many deadly chemicals that have since been banned from existance, and my adopted mother is illiterate. Raised as an only child, books were my friend, which resulted in emotional and social interaction growth being stunted. However, I was raised in a fundimentalist church which provided a good grounding in moral and ethical truths to live by.
If I had been treated for ADD, ADHD and depression, I could have been the next brillian sciencetist- a Newton, an Enstein or Hawking.
I have an IQ of roughly 147- it would have been far higher if I had been trained and raised correctly, rather than self taught for most things.
If I had to do it all over again? I'd chose parents who were wise, with advanced social skills and the ability to train children in what is right and what is wrong, along with advanced scholastic ability.

No, I would not. I would be more practical and responsible as a young adult. I would have went to college. But, I would not change when I had my children. When we are given God's precious gift, it is a blessing.
