christmas ideas for a hunter/fisherman?

I'm trying to think of gifts for my brothers. One is very much involved with hunting (deer and duck mostly) while the other is more of a fisherman (although they both fish regularly in the season). Any good ideas for either. We're from the northeast so it'd be mostly fresh water fishing (and ice fishing) possibly good knives/tools that they wouldn't buy for themselves... Any ideas??

Already mentioned, but a gift card to Cabelas is great. There is a new store in Hartford, Ct? and they can be used online or by mail. For fishermen there is a line of boat/fishing tools called xtools. They are all good quality and they float, making them ideal on a boat. Another idea is binoculars that take digital photos. A smoker. A basket of spices and rubs for game. Cabela sells several gift sets that are food (mostly types of sausage) made out of different types of game. Lodges, such as the Elks, often have Game Dinners as a fund raiser where all different types of meat are served in course- you could get tickets to one of those.

Most hunters and fisherman fail to take water and food with them, assuming they will get back before needing either. They have some new items to carry water and snacks, some even insulated to keep warm or cold. (You never know when an accident will happen.) Two way radios are always a good idea, even to notify they're late, hurt, in a different place than proposed. Pay the extra $'s for the longer range ones, though, since often one guy goes back without telling the others and it needs the strength to work inside the buildings from outside or inside to outside.

Wow lol that would be a great gift. not much advice here but I'm pretty sure he will love it! And plus he will definitely love the fact that you thought of him enough to get him a gift. Good luck! :)

A Gift Card for Cabela's would be most gratefully received.

I dont know if they still have them, but a few years back, I bought my ex a pair of "heater" socks in a sporting goods store. This is a pair of sock that are connected to a small battery (I believe a AAA battery) that would warm up and keep his feet warm.

    They pretended to be fishermen.

    Buy them a Nintendo Wii.
