Is it possible to install an AGP graphics card onto a PCI slot?

Just wondering...I'd like to upgrade my video card, but I only have a PCI slot on the board. I have an integrated graphics chip but it won't run any of the newer pc games...:-(

No but you can however purchase pci based graphics cards (these are not be confused with pci-e cards - these are completely different again).

Unfortunately, an AGP card will not fit into a PCI slot. If you've only got PCI slots available, you'll need a standard PCI video card.

Your new motherboard's northbridge and southbridge chipsets received't fireplace up with the old motherboard's chipset drivers on the puzzling pressure. without the chipsets firing up abode windows received't boot up. you are able to ought to reinstall the OS. might want to apply a clean installation of the OS on an improve like that besides.
