Is a wireless network adapter address the same thing as a MAC address?

    The MAC address is the most basic address associated with the hardware (wether it is wireless or not). It is usually hard coded in the adapter card although some can be changed.

    This is not to be confused with the IP address which is speciffic to TCP/IP protocol and has nothing to do with the MAC address.

    MAC address is used by both Wireless Crads and regular NICs.

    yes if you are talking about the wireless router some what

    like Mac .But not it's call 2wire systems card that gets signals

    from motum tower as such! Internet Protection traces user's

    address understand?
