I have some questions about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!?

Okay, I think I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. What ARE the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? I feel like my wrist's are useless and have a lump in them, and I get this tingly feeling my hand, and it kind of spreads to my fingers. Are these any symptoms of CTS? I haven't had any pain YET if I do have CTS. Thanks for reading!

I had carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and had both operated on in a simple procedure. Both of my hands would fall asleep and be painful. You will have pain from the thumb to the ring finger, but the pinky won't fall asleep. This will happen if your hands are in the same position, like holding a newspaper or carrying groceries or whatever. Often I would wake up from my hands aching.

I wore braces on my hands for awhile, but it wasn't helping so I went to an orthopedist who did the surgeries.

If you decide to have surgery, don't have them both done the same day or you can't wipe your butt by yourself!!! :oP

Yes thats pretty close. Sure sighn is put your wrist together back to back about chin level. Wait just a couple minutes and you should start to feel the same sensations. Yup, thats it. Time for a brace and doctor. Good Luck.
