There are usually about three or four timing marks on the various timing cams and pulleys. If the timing belt has jumped a tooth somewhere you will need to take it off and either replace it or realign all the timing marks. On some cars you have to remove an electrical component, set the timing, then replace the electrical component. I haven't done this my self but I worked in a shop for a few years and have seen it performed. You'll need to get a repair manual such as a Haynes repair manual usually at your local parts store. If you look up timing it will show you what and where the electrical component is you need to pull. If this doesn't work you'll have to realign the timing belt. It may have a chain instead of a belt, can't remember.
