Help! Help! Help! What do I wear to a semi-formal banquet??

Question

I am a t-shirt and jeans lady and it has been a very long time since i wear a dress. what can I wear that is flattering for me not just other women but for me, for a woman that is short, large busted, and full figured?

Is white dressy fancy pants and black or brown shimmery shiny sequence top ok.

Get some of those black palazzo pants -- you know, the ones that are mid-calf length and made of swingy material -- they are all over the place this season, and because they aren't clingy they hide all sorts of sins!  Then you can wear a body shaper underneath to smooth you out.  Top it off with a sparkly top or something like that, and you'll be good to go.

A simple black dress, works wonders because it can be dressed up or down. You can also have it in your closet for other occassions. It will compliment your figure "flaws"...and it's a timeless classic. Good luck.
