Ender´s Game by Card has some really good sequels i.e. Speaker For the Dead is next in line. A series that I´ve always loved since a young adult were the Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites by Chris Heimerdinger about time travel and exploring an ancient civilization. Entirely appropriate and in good imagination.

If your boys like something sci-fi or spooky Jon Bellairs is right up their alley.

When I was a little guy I loved Goodnight Moon. It´s a classic. My mom read me I´ll Love You Forever And Like You For Always when I was a baby.

sorry im a girl and only read the girly teenage stuff so i dont have anything to recommend for the guys, but for the toddlers try runny babbir by shel silvertein, its really funny with the word all confused how runny says them, they have the hard backs at walmart for 15 dollars, im not sure of the paper backs though, runny babbit is actually bunny rabbit if you didnt notice, every other word is like this in the book od silly poems, it also has a billy sook on the cover under the name, to cute!

"Through the Fields to School" is about a ranch family in Montana in the 1920s - 1930s. Very appropriate and in large print for younger children. No foul language and heartwarming stories about growing up with nature and very little money.
