Convert a program that works on windows 98 to work on windows xp?

I have an old software solution that works on windows 98 only, however there is no maintaince on it and i need to upgrade to a computer that works with windows XP and I must have that old program works on the new computer, any suggustions

    maybe you need to do this.

    1. in windows XP, go to where your old program/software that you want to use it.

    2. right click on the program icon.

    3. select properties.

    4.there are 3 tabs there. the first on the right is Compatibility, select this.

    5.down on the Compatibility menu, there are Compatibility mode.

    6.Click on the Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows 98.

    7.If thats the only one you want, click OK. your program/software should have work, I hope so.

    If you load win 98 programs in xp most will work. If they don't then you right click on the icon select properties and compatability then it allows you to select windows 98 compatability mode to run the program.

    Actually I have no suggestions to enable old software to function on new OSes. I would suggest that you put this energy in to Linux, and make a real difference in the computer world!

    i think u must get a newer verison for this program & im sure that it will work on windows xp .
