network setup?

I have 2 compts. 1 is Win2k and the other is XP... My files sharing and printers were working b4 I reformat my hard drive on my XP.. Now, don't matter how I set up the network.. my printers and files won't able to share again.. A message kept on popping up saying that the path is unable to find or .."The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.."

Any ideas will be very much appreciated..

What shall I do?

Just start from scratch. Delete all the old connections and remove share on all drive and folder. If your printer is not a network printer, you can share it and specify the user name and password again. It should work like before. I have the same setup and hasn't had a problem.

You need a Extreme Hard Drive that you can hook up two computer at the same time. If you a 2st printer you will not need have to have 2 computer on at the same time.

I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems.

Some RAM/ hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in/ useful

Be sure that IPX/SPX and NETBUI are running on both computers.
