Influenza in children?
My seven year old has been running between 100-104 fever since early yesterday. He's been all achy with no appetite and his stomachs' been hurting. He keeps blinking his eyes a lot. I think they might be hurting him. His main complaint is a headache. I've been having him drink plenty of gatorade and eating here and there when he feels up to it. Is there anything else I should be doing? Should I call the doctor in the morning? He has autism so he has a hard time relaying all of his symptoms to me, but I think he's gotten all of them across.
His ears have been fine, he's complained of his stomach hurting when his fever goes up more but he hasn't vomitted and hasn't had any direhea. When he eats he acts fine, like it doesn't hurt his throat or anything. I've got a humidifer running in the room he's in right now.

Fever is a symptom, not an illness, but, also it makes one feel bad, achy, and in dishevel. Does swallowing hurt? Has he been pulling at his ears? Any nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or constipation? These could be other signs ponting to his discomfort. If it is still going on tomorrow, I would suggest you call your doctor.
