What is the safest OTC Pain Reliever while pregnant (or possibly pregnant)?

As the rule goes, act as if you are pregnant until you know differently. I'm sore from work & minor cramping. What is the safest thing for me to take?

Panadeine-15 avaliable in Australia is the strongest pain killer avaliable over the counter that is safe to use during pregnancy, but not when breastfeeding.

Other than that, plain paracetamol is also safe to take.

A natural method to relieve the cramping and soreness may also be heat, from a hot bath, hot water bottle, or wheat pack. Maybe give these a try if you are still at all worried about the painkillers.

Pharmacists are also great to chat to about any concerns you have, and are fully trained in giving advice about medications during pregnancy!

When I was pregnant they told me tylenol, but tylenol has never helped me with anything, so I didn't bother taking it.

You're having muscle pain and minor cramping? How about a warm bath? One thing that can help during pregnancy is THE RELAXATOIN RESPONSE by Herbert Benson. Do it as much as you can while pregnant. It will be great for you and the baby.

Honestly until you've discussed this matter with a doctor, I recomnmend you do not take anything. A few hours of discomfort will be well worth a healthy baby! Good Luck!!!

every otc pill says to consult your dr if your pregnant so I advise you to do so instead of asking in this web page.
