Maybe you mean 'konnichi wa' which means hello basically

吉 - kichi is just a suffix. It's not used for females, but it has no particular meaning I'm afraid!
Long ago, male servants would have kichi as a suffix to their names ... but I presume that in this case it's more of an affectionate term!
It's only a nickname anyway. According to Japan wiki his name is Souma kyou 草摩夾（そうま きょう）and kyonkichi is merely one of many nicknames.
