Jerry Stiller is very much alive. I have done an extensive internet serach of the national obit. and nothing. No sources show him as having passed away. After reaching a deal with Kevin James, the sitcom was renewed by CBS for thirteen midseason episodes, scheduled to begin airing in January 2007.[1][2] This will bring the show to its ninth and final season, as confirmed by co-star Leah Remini on her official website. With the end of That '70s Show and Will & Grace in May 2006, The King of Queens has assumed the title of the longest-running American live-action sitcom currently on the air.

IMDB.com's entry on Jerry Stiller doesn't have a date of death listed, nor does Wikipedia's page ... and in googling Jerry Stiller I didn't find any news stories about him dying ... so I'm going to say that most likely no, it is not true that he's died.

Jerry Stiller is not dead. The show is slated as a mid-season replacement. When a new show fails, "King of Queens" will start new shows in that time slot.

No, that was to sell mags, it also says something about him telling Sam he still loves her but the article mentions nothing of that. Only says they talk about their pst. It says bodies are left in the wake but whose...I haven't heard a thing about Jason leaving!

Other than him hitting his head on the side walk no telling. He apparently tripped getting out odf a taxi cab and hit his head. I didn't hear he died.
