Camp grounds in Michigan ?
Im looking for a great campground in michigan a bunch of my class graduates are all meeting back in Michigan (we all live accross country now) to go camping any ideas or campgrounds we should check out?

Grand Haven State Park is nice. Or if you want a little more rustic, come to the UP. Many nice campgrounds across the UP and we can always use the money.......

Lots of good places depends on where you are going. MI is a big state. I agree that the U.P. would probably be the best (most rustic). You could check out the Michigan DNR website too, I use it a lot to find camping sites. I know you're not supposed to but the best spot I was in was in the U.P. right off Route 2 after the bridge on the left. I found a small fire road or something and it opened up to a beautiful wodded area right on Lake Michigan (good skinny-dipping there!) and we just pitched our tent there. Most amazing sunsets too. Just "leave no trace".

Michigan is large, where is Michigan? we go to Sutter's in North branch and Metamora, both are very nice.
