Trailer Wiring for Chevy Pickup?

Actually, what I have is an LED strip light under the tailgate. The Silverados have separate turn signal and brake light bulbs. I can't do the normal wiring, where you use each turn signal wire and still end up with stop lights. I need 5 wire. Tail, stop, 2 turn signals and ground . Right now, I'm just using the tail and stop lights. Can I wire this to add the turn signals without an adapter? Thanks for the help.

Update:

It is an 07 Classic. No yellow turn signals, but separate bulb for stop and turn.

Update 2:

Also, only 4 wires on the light. On Chevys with a 4 wire plug below the bumper, what wires do they use? That's what I need to do. Somehow they get their 5 wires into the 4 wire plug

john you need an adapter, we use ones from a company called (hoppy) the're pretty inexpensive. just go to a local parts store and tell them you need a trailer harness for your 07 with separate turn signals, they'll give you a converter with five wires giong in and only four pins coming out for a trailer, then you'll have to buy the female end (trailer side) plug it in and wire it to your led bar.
