I strongly believe that communication is key. For a couple to stay together they have to be positively communicating. When they have problems they need to express those problems to one another in order to solve them. If you are trying to make a relationship last, make sure you have the doors of communication open; and speak with eachother frequently. Without communication, a relationship is destined to fail.

Communication, trust, respect, honesty, and love. If any of these is lacking, then the relationship may or may not last. Love is the strongest of all of these, but the other qualities are just as important as they will get you through the rough patches and help you to survive jealous feelings, hurt feelings, anger, or any other thing.

Communication, what a word. how many problems cause of no communication. Remember, that word and that it has to happen on both sides of the fence. Honesty and your hearts love goes a long way too.

if both are interested in maintaining the relationship, then both will contribute to the relationship everyday.when one loses interest even for a while that changes the dynamics and the relationship starts to chip away.
