Holy cow, man, it's all over the news!! How can you miss it?
GW Bush called what his party received in the election Tuesday "a thumpin,'" and he meant it.
He's finally replaced Rumsfeld, and that is certainly a good sign. But it may just be a way of throwing the Democrats a bone. He wants to "stay the (dubious) course" in Iraq, and it will be easier without the Rumsfeld issue hanging around his neck like an albatros.

Yes, he called Pelosi and congratulated her and her party. He also had a very busy day electing a new secretary of defense.
