report both him and his wife missing. if you just report him missing they won't search for her too.

Maybe it was a emergency, and they had to leave. Maybe one of the elve's got sick eating to much chocolate.

I think that I would just wait until they came back. I am sure they would'nt forget Rudolph's birthday. Just keep your self busy, like helping the other elves prepare for the party. Maybe you can frost some sugar cookies. Good Luck!

Well, you have to remember, he's a busy man these days. He has forty-something days to organize a trip around the world, making time to shimmy down chimneys, eat cookies, and turn to wink at millions of children who climb out of bed when they hear someone around the Christmas tree. Not to mention, he has to be at thousands and thousands of malls and department stores simultaneously for the next month-and-a-half.

Considering all that, it's not unbelievable that he's late for dinner. Order a cup of cocoa. He'll probly be there soon.
