I would suggest to Quarentine it (AVG will automatically move it to a safer place in the system), so you can later decide whether or not / how to remove it.

After, quarantine, search on Google for how to remove the trojan. Search for the filename, name of the trojan along with the term "remove".

Perhaps, you can also post those details here on Answers - there are some very helpful people here that may be able to find answers more quickly.

Source(s): http://www.google.com/ Just recently recovered from multiple infections myself. Took a lot of manual work and many reboots, as well as a load of searching with Google.

Quarentine the file. If it is needed by the system, Windows can restore the file. Just write down which one and where it is. and Boot from Windows cd. After file is restored from Windows cd, delete quarentined file.

Also, Upgrade AVG to Bitdefender v10 with Rootkit Detection. You don't need to overpay for Internet Security versions.

um... I wouldn't delete anything in your system folder.

To put it shortly, it's the folder that makes your operating system work. ( I think )

Most likely, you're going to have to wipe your hard drive... and reload everything.
