What's wrong with the term "illegal alien"?

I'm with you. Just what part of "illegal" don't they understand? The definition for alien is not only from outer space. I guess they feel they have the "right" to be called something else. Heck, it's OUR Country! Seems like they think they have "rights" for everything in this Country even if they aren't supposed to be here.

I call it as I see it.

Political correctness will be the death of this Country.

I agree there should be nothing wrong with it, although I could see how some people associate the term "alien" with people from outterspace. That is just an uneducated viewpoint though. I don't think it's a big deal, but am also fine saying illegal immigrant, but still that seems to implay they are here for good, which they shouldn't be if they are illegal.

Illegal alien is the correct term.Its the term that the Border Patrol and other law enforcement organizations call the people that circumvent this nations laws and enter it thru illegal methods.The statement that no human is illegal is ignorant nonsensical rhetoric that is propagated by the pro illegal supports and like most of their rhetoric

that is not based in fact.If you commit a crime you are doing something illegal,you can be arrested

and tried for your illegal act.

That's common sense to anyone,with a working brain.

There is nothing wrong with the term. Some people don't realize there are other meanings for the word alien, or they are just trying to be funny.

There is nothing wrong with the term "Illegal Alien." Nor is there anything wrong with the term "(Legal) Alien." Both terms are enshrined in US law.

Nothing! Illegal would mean to me that the person is not of legal status of a particular country. Alien would mean that the person is from a foreign country and not American etc..

I have to agree with "punisher6673" on that one, he spelled it out perfect. But either way, the term illegal alien, or undocumented alien, is all the same, they are here illegally......

The spin masters and proponents of open borders know full well the negative connotation of the term, "illegal immigrants," and they are doing all they can to replace it with the euphemism, "undocumented workers."

Fortunately, even the PC nut bags in this country aren't buying into that lame attempt to call a sow's ear a silk purse !
