Go to a bank with the attitude of 'What can you do for me' and not with the attitude of 'Please help me.'

The 'please help me' attitude will probably get you you their worst deal (as far as you are concerned, but the best for the bank!).

If you go in there and tell them what you want and don't want, you will be surprised at what they will offer you. If you don't like their offer, tell them so and go to another bank. For example, tell them, say, that you don;t want to pay points and see what they have to offer.

Note: the bigger your down payment, the more they will deal with you. Banks want to do business with you--just make sure it is on your terms and to get the best deal you can.

You should start with a lesson in how to type without using all capital letters. From there you can branch off into English lessons.

After those basics have been taken care of you should worry a bit less about getting people to lend you money and more about fixing your "challenged" history of financial irresponsibility.
