Different motors require different modifications to reverse rotation. It is often a matter of reversing the field wiring to change the polarity of the magnetic field if I remember correctly. Some motors have circuit diagrams inside the connection cover that show how to reverse. If this is not the case, go to the manufacturer's website and look up the specific motor. Hopefully there will be info there. Some motors will not reverse, are designed to run one way only. Persons suggesting reversing polarity of connections need to remember that only works with some types of DC motors. Does not work with AC motors. This is not a simple or trivial question. You might also get the needed info from a good electric motor repair shop or possibly from a professional electrician specializing in motors.

If it is a dc motor change the polarities of the motor and connect to power source. If it is a 3 phase ac motor just exchange the places of two power supply wires and connect to the power. If it is a single phase ac motor you have to install extra reversing gadgets that you can find in any electric shop.

The 3M138 is a shaded pole motor. These have some advantages over other types of induction motors, but, unfortunately, reversing the direction is not one of them.
The direction of rotation is physically set by the shading rings.
I've heard that some shaded pole motors can be disassembled and can be reversed, but I've never tried it - I try not to "fix" things that aren't broke - in my experience, this usually results in a learning experience rather than a "repair."

Change the stator field current direction. ie reverse the polarity of the two wires.

Normally what you do is that you invert the alimentation. If you used to put the + of the alimentation on the - of the motor you do the contrary

Switch the (+) and (-) wires coming from your power sources. Should spin it the opposite way.
