Who makes a DVR sold in the US that does not have copy protection buit in?

DVD or DVR both wont record from HBO etc from my cable system

The only one I could find before I got too depressed to keep looking is the Archos AV300 series. It's a portable media player, but it has DVR functions too. The newer series (400 and up) have Macrovision (I'm assuming that's the copy protection you're referring to).
