Is it wrong?

and dishonest to be on Y/A at work? Isn't it more productive not to be bored all the time?

technically it is wrongif it is forbidden by company policy :) its like taking paper or paper clips home from the office. It is considered an act of stealing...TECHNICALLY.

but.... with that said, personally i believe, as long as it makes you a better employee and not stressed out that you are snappish to colleagues and clients then I think its a MUCH better choice of action than not :)

We do need breaks sometimes, but are you truly giving all you can to your job? Are you sure there isn't something you could be doing to make your job better, easier, done smarter, instead of Y/A?

If you are that bored, ask for more challenge or apply for something more worthwhile. You are paid for doing a job - be sure you are giving it all you can.

If you're "bored all the time" maybe it's time to look for a more exciting (less boring) job.

Is it right to take money, but not do what you're supposed to be doing?
