Would you rather have 10 nasty violent believers or 10 kindly noble non-believers living in your community?
* a petty thought just struck me... being Buddhist, i was wondering would I rather have 10 mean and nasty Buddhist in my community or 10 kindly and noble Non-believers of my faith? After a bit of consideration I think I prefer to have the latter.
1. What about you guys and girls of various faiths in the R+S... would you rather have 10 nasty believers of your faith ( christians, taoists, buddhists, muslim, catholics, hindu etc etc ) or 10 kindly non-believers ( atheists or individuals of other faiths and belief systems?) living in and around your community?
2. I understand that this is just at best a hypothetical question, as no one is either all good nor all bad... but my question here is based on the general norm and mean. Say... 10 Mother Teresa-like people or 10 Hitler-like people for example...
thx for entertaining my curiousity.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do I copy out files to external HD without a USB port?
I have an old desktop Comp that uses a Pentium Celeron processor and does not have USB. The mouse and stuff are also non-USB. I was about to trade it in, but a children's home requested to have and I will be donating it to them
1. Is there a way to copy out the files I need from my old comp to an external HD when it doesn't have a USB port? My external drive uses USB
2. Is it better for me to format the drive and install everything new after I back up my files? ( I would like to give the home a good running comp and not a fuzzy-buzzy one )
Thanks Everyone for your help
p/s: My knowledge in computers are at best retarded... so I hope you can reply me as if I was 6 years old. :) ( ah youth...wishful thinking hehe )

4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoMy cat has a Teary eye, what can I do to help give some relief?
He has teary eyes on only one eye, no puss, no redness on the eye itself but the outer eye area looks a little pink, he is able to eat and go poopie regularly. And he will allow me to wipe his eye with a damp cotton to clean off some of the tears
I am unable to bring him to the vet yet for another 2 days, in the meantime I hope i can do something to help him as I was told cats usually don't make noises when they are in pain unless its severe...
I hope someone can give some temp tips... Thanks a million for your help
Very Worried

3 AnswersCats1 decade agoWhat's the diff between Methamphetamine, Phentermine and Amphetamines?
I am a little concerned, one of my close friends and colleagues is on a dietar/weight loss meds that is called Phentermine or branded Duramin. As it sounded a bit like Meth, the dangerous party drug I am concerned if my friend is moving herself onto a dangerous road.
1. Is Phentermine the same as Methamphetamine or Amphetamine?
2. Is it an addictive, hallucigenic drug?
Any added info would be MUCH appreciated.
Thank you all for your time and info.
9 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoNat Geo prog: Muhammed- Legacy of a Prophet. Why is it so diff from what the extremists are preaching?
I saw on National Geographic Channel yesterday the above mentioned prog, and it opened my eyes to many many many aspects of Islam that i never really thought of, especially the prophet's last and final sermon where he encouraged his people to be good to each other and especially the part about forgetting vengence.
Question: Why is the teachings of so many extremist groups so different from the Prophet's message of peace?
2. Isn't Brother Muslim killing Brother Muslim equal to blaspheme of the porphet's words? ( eg. Shitte, Sunni conflict)
3. If the Prophet and ancient muslims were so forgiving of the Meccans when he had entered... how come our modern ones are so cruel?
Thank you.
p/s: for those muslims who havent watched this documentary, it is worth a watch, very inspiring program about your great Prophet ( I am not muslim though )
