Uhm...why would someone want to be living with their parents when they are over 25?? Move out!!!!!!! I think if you are still living with your parents after the age of 20 it is pathetic. I'd say quit living off your parents and get a job and support your own @ss

If you are too lazy to get a job (McDonald's is always hiring) and get out on your own, then your parents should kick you to the curb and force you to take care of yourself.
Otherwise, if you have a reason to be there, like providing financial assistance or if they need your help in some other way, stay. You can work it out

being 25 and living with your parents is a horror. it devastating. its irritating and annoying. if I had it my way id be out. but the problem rests on my finances. :(. till I get a job and get paid there is nothing I can do but bear the annoyance of living with them. no freedom. no respect. my dad just promised to open up a can of *** whooping. and im 25.

hey well i have to say it dose depend on ur personal relationship with ur parents. If i was to live with mine i think i would be dead..lol as i dont get on with my parents at all
But on the other hand my bf for 2yrs still lives at home and he has a great relationship with them , He has found it easyer when it comes to money as it enables him to save up for his own house and also enables him to do more with myself and my kids with out having to worry about the things that ppl whom own there own place worry about. Also helps save for weddings holidays ect and also helps with insuring he is debit free when he moves out
so as i said before it would depend on the relationship with the parents and also if it would work out and what the grounds for this dision between both child and parents by the way my bf is 36

Please! It's difficult for us parents to live with a child over 25. Get your own place already. Quit mooching off your parents. Cut the cord!!

I'm 34 and wouldn't even DREAM of living with my parents again! No offence to them because I love them dearly, but you get your own set ways, your independance. I couldn't imagine anything worse than living with mine again! (and I dont think for a second they would live with me either!!)

Absolutely! Time to get a place of your own. Too many adults in one home creates major problems!

If your parents are elderly - YES.
If they are younger & more liberal it should not be a problem, especially if Mom is suffering the "empty nest syndrome".
However RESPECT 4 each other should be paramount & u should nor abuse their hospitality - pay your own way.........
