Where can I find exercise routines to GAIN weight?

I'm 29. I'm 6' 2" and I only weight 128 lbs. I quit smoking 6 months ago and I eat like a horse, but I'm not gaining any weight and my wife is afraid that my low weight is unhealthy.

All the exercise routines I find have been created with the intention of losing weight.

I've started eating better, but now I want to exercise.

I just had a complete physical and the doc didn't find any medical problems. I'm healthy as a horse (just not built quite as well).

Update:

In high school and college I ate whatever; knowing my metabolism would someday halt and my weight would catch up to me.

Now I'm 30 and I want to put on some muscle mass.

Thank you for those of you with real advise.

My wife loves me the way that I am, but wants to make sure I'm still around and healthy when I'm 40, 50, 60, & 90.

Ok, Iam not an expert, but due to my hectic training schedule, I was not able to eat properly, and I lost a lot of kilos. Iam already lean, now I became even more lean! Then I asked for methods to gain weight.

The first thing you should keep in mind is that gaining weight is not the only sign of health. If it is, then why are so many people out there go to gym everyday and sweat like pigs to lose weight?! Your doctor diagnosed and didn't find anything wrong, right? And you know very well that you are healthy as a horse. Then what are you so worried about? You should be proud about your amazing slim body. Many people out there dream about a slender attractive body... :-)

If you still want to gain weight, try thick banana milkshake, and milk mixed with enough protein powder everyday.

Take in a lot of dairy products(but be careful when you take in the butter). Go to a good gym, where a good instructor can give you advice on gaining body mass.I don't think non-veg is gonna help gain body mass. It just makes you obese.

"You are just 29, and you alredy have a good family, now why are you so worried about being lean? Be proud, man, just enjoy the life...." ;-)

the best (aka most healthy way) to gain way is by adding muscle mass. in oder to accomplish this, you first must have some body fat (since fat is need to make muscle). the best way to build muscle is through weight training. i would consult a dietian about what type of diet you should switch to that is higher in fats, but still healthy (ie, NOT a bunch of fried foods/fast food/etc) and then possibly look into getting a trainer at a local gym.

Make sure you eat foods with lots of protein and iron. You could take a supplement for this. Weight lifting along with moderate exercise should help you gain weight.

start eating more of course...but also you need to work out and take creatine and 100% whey powder protein drink.

    my work out is:

6-8 exercises 5 sets 5 reps 3 times a week with 80% of my maxed weight.

exercise will cause you to burn up calories . How can it make you gain weight?

Add the following to your diet:

    Bananas

    Boiled potatoes

    full fat milk

    meats with fat content

exercise moderately.Dont stop exercising though, it will make you flabby.

You can do muscle group exercises and light weightlifting at the gym to tone up your muscles.

I would also suggest a check for worms and metabolism rates.

Hey, you are one of those fortunate (so people like to say) people that can eat what ever and not gain. Yeah, see me over here?? Me too. I am the same way. If you find a way to gain weight, let me know. LOL

Talk to a trainer at Golds Gym. Lots of people have this problem. Also, you might want to see a doctor. Maybe you have a tape worm.

Enjoy eating whatever you want NOW. When your metabolism slows down, you'll wish you were thin again.
