Yes, companies are really careful to bring them up to good working order. I'm using a refurbished old government one right now.

certainly i'm the Director of IT for a corporation that covers 3 states and all we do is purchase refurb / used structures. the reason being is for a pair of motives. quantity one being we could continually purchase 5 used / refurb structures for what it may fee us for one million sort new gadget. We merely do computers as used or refurb we've on no account accomplished laptops although. subsequently some distance we've been very pleased with the structures we've gotten.

I highly recommend it, I have a refurbbed laptop I've been using for 4 years,never a problem. But it won't hurt to purchase an extended warranty. Tigerdirect.com is a great place to purchase a system.

I have twice and had more problems than it is worth! Anyhow I would suggest a payment plan with Dell it is cheap and decent.
