Does anyone remember Nielson's Treasures Chocolate Bar?
Only sold in Canada. Until about the late 1970's, I believe it had 6 pockets ( like a caramilk bar ) but each pocket had a different flavor. Does anyone remember what the flavors were???

I do remember this one... it was one of my fave's....but it was a long time ago. The Neilson "Treasure Chest" chocolate bar - 6 or 8 different fillings in different shaped pockets of chocolate. One was vanilla (off white cream), one was chocolate fudge (dark brown cream) and one was the caramilk.

"Treasure chest was also great except for the Turkish jelly part."
"THE TREASURE BAR"? Lowney's ...I believe,,, 6 BIG flavors. Marachino cherry..turkish delite...dark chocolate ...vanilla cream..coffee cream and (my favorite) orange cream...???
"I remembered we had neilson "treasure"chocolate bar that contained 5or 6 flavors. It was one of our favorite bar in the 70s and 80s. It had vanilla chocolate cherry caramel and I think butterscotch in each pocket."
"The treasure"chocolate bar" she refers to was calley Jersey Milk Treasures and was sold by Neilson in Canada, as I recall. "
"I live in Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island. To get to our biggest shopping area, Nanaimo, we have to drive through an area called Nanoose Bay. Whenever I'm coming home from Nanaimo and beginning to pass through Nanoose, there's a Petro-Can station on my right. As I come down the hill towards it, all of a sudden, buying a Neilson's Treasure Chest bar comes into my head. I don't know when they stopped making those, but I've only lived here about 10 yrs and I'm sure they stopped making them before that. I'm wondering if it's a childhood memory about coming over to the Island. It's the weirdest thing though, and it happens every time I pass that service station."

I used to work at neilsons on Gladstone avenue Toronto one summer during my teen years. I worked on the line that wrapped the treasure bar it was six different chocolates held together with a chocolate backing. What a great summer job. You could eat all the chocolate you wanted so I would eat a few bars for my dinner break. The regulars just rolled their eyes in disbelief. I also worked on the rosebud line too and almost lost an arm in the folding conveyor! My boyfriend used to pick me up after work and said I smelled like a chocolate bar. No need for coffee breaks in that factory!

It was my favorite and when I had one last time I was 7 or 8, 1977 or 1978, I used to think that Edmonton was the only place that things were disappearing until I moved here to BC, I remember Beechnuts cough drops too, they were the best, that's gone too, Cheeze Willlakers also gone, everything I like gets discontinued.

YES! I was just reminiscing, telling my son that I could buy a chocolate bar for 35 cents when I was his age and one of my favourites was called Treasures and it was like a little box of chocolates all in one bar!

It was around in the 60's. My Dad used to buy them for me before he dies in 1967. They had strawberry in there too I think.
