Was it just a kiss?

Question

My best guy friend and i got the leads in the play. He the male lead, me the female lead. We had our first stage kiss today, and he kissed me, well, pretty good. It was no peck. It was almost like the Walk To Remember kiss, ya know? In the past he liked me, but i always told him i was only interested in his friendship. My feelings haven't changed, but i cant tell with him. Was it a real kiss, or is he just a really good actor?

It could depend...as in how everyone else reacted when they saw this. Like, did the director comment it went for too long, was too passionate? And also, the other cast members, did they whistle and generally carry on? If they did, or some smart comment was made, and he continued the kiss, then I would suspect there was something more...
Did you kiss him back? And if you did, what was his reaction? Surprised? Or did he just carry on...
If you like him, and he likes you, then over a period of time, during these stage kisses, you will notice a bit more passion in them, and then you shall know.

I think the best thing to do is sit down with your best guy friend and have a talk about that kiss. Ask him how he felt about it and if you are interested in pursuing a relationship with him, let your feelings be known. If he really is your best friend, he will be open to discuss about this with you. Good Luck!

It could be a real kiss if you like the way he kiss you why you get to know him very well and your could make a good friendship you should try to get his number and make arrangement for both for your to go out and have a good time.

maybe just a good actor, but why don't you ask him and find out?
In a way though, I think he still likes you because if he didn't, he probably wouldn't have kissed you for real, even if he was acting.

The only person that knows the answer to this is him, but really, why do you care anyways? If you know you don't want a relationship don't worry about what is in his head. You've been honest with him already and he should respect that.
