I need help on a two-in-one question?

My first question is that how do you respond to someone's question of, "Como estas?" I know it's stupid, but I just can't remember. How do you say good and bad. I remember so-so is asi-asi! But that's it. My second and last question is how do you pronounce somberness? I'm not foreign or anything but sometimes a girl gets stumped! I know what it means and was thinking to use it for my essay, so it'll become more jazzed up. Thanks for everything and rock on, Yahoo! users.

    "Como estas?" "bien gracias" (Good, thank you) or "como estas?" "no muy bien" (not so well) or "bien mal" (really bad). It all depends on how in depth you wanna get lol.

    Good - Bien..

    Bad - Mal..

    So so - Mas o menos..

    Not so good - No tan bien...

    Excellent (for those good days) - Exellente!! (and say it like you mean it lol)

    and for somberness, you can go here and click on the word to LISTEN to a pronounciation = http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/somberness

    Good luck sweetie and rock on!! lol

    Muy Bien! is very good and I think Muy mal! is very bad. Is somberness a word? How do you pronounce it in spanish? In english I would say it how it's spelled.

    "Hola, Coma Estas?"

    If you are doing.........

    Well, you answer: "Muy Bien, Gracious, Y Tu?"

    Which Means, very good, Thank you, and you?

    Good=Bein

    If you are feeling.....

    Badly, you answer....

    <Muy Mal! y tu?

    <VERY Badly! and You?>

    And, well, you already know asi-asi, so I won't bother with that. Have a good one.
