these are experiences of people on re-incarnation

    Catherine (4-Feb-2006)

I have two memories that I believe are past life memories. I don't recall how I came to remember them as it was a long time ago. Both these memories are very short. I tried to extend them and remember more, but I wasn't able to.

The first memory I want to tell you about was probably my most recent life. I think this because of the clothing I was wearing-mid to late 60's. I was born in 1967 .

I remember I was a young woman standing in a cave on the beach. It was one of those beach caves that was very shallow-no more then ten or fifteen feet deep with a wide mouth. I was standing in one of those caves and looking down at my hands. My nails were done and I was quite attractive(in a typical sort of way). Anyway I was looking down at my hands and feet and when I looked up a guy was standing in the mouth of a cave and as I looked up..he lifted up a rifle took aim,,,and shot me.

That is all I remember. I have no idea who that was or why he shot me. I hunted around for stories of women found shot dead in beach caves in the 60's but came up empty. I am not much into newspaper archives though.

the other memory I have was much earlier ...sometime in the 1940's I think. I just remember looking at a calendar that said the date..and I was married but my husband was away..it was a pretty uneventful existance I am gathering..but again I only rememb er a moment of it. This memory, like the other one was for about 30 sec.

now it is upto u to beleive or not

I do not believe in reincarnation as it is told in the words of the dalai lama......

I do beleive that we were in a place before we became human... and when we give up the last breath, it is there that we shall return..... and because we are given to these corruptible features in this life, when we return, we will be given a body much greater than the one we currently have......

Reincarnation is a truth ... If your book does nto mention it, Truth does not become false...

Reincarnation is perhaps a wrong word used...hindus and Buddhists use Re-Birth instead.

As humans we have to learn millions of lessons of pains and joys, richness and poverties, cruelty and kindness, killing and be killed, ...till we reach our next mind evolution i.e. Divinity.

One life is not sufficient for all these lessons. hence our soul after death goes to another body to learn other sets of lessons

The paradoxes as to why some are born rich some poor, some without mind or without limbs...some from poverty going to utter richness...some spiritual from childhood... can not be explained without Reincarnation

Dont ask for proof, because no one can give proof of God or heaven/hell...there are certain things which are beyond physical proofs

Many during the hypnotic state have remembered their last birth.

Why we dont remember past birth? Because Nature does not want us to get entangled to our last relations...so that we can freely learn new lessons...that z why She takes away the gross memory at death..and leads soul to new body with the resultant progress earned during last births.

"I have been born again many times."

Like Nicodemus, many people have no concept of what it means to be born again. He thought Jesus was speaking of a physical rebirth. Others see the experience as being a spiritual "tingle" when they think of God or a warm fuzzy feeling when they enter a building they erroneously call a "Church." Or maybe they are of the impression that one is born again when one is "christened" or "confirmed."

However, the new birth spoken of by Jesus is absolutely essential for sinners to enter heaven. If they are not born again, they will not enter the kingdom of God. Therefore it is necessary to establish the fact that one becomes a Christian by being born again, pointing out that Jesus Himself said that the experience was crucial. The difference between believing in Jesus and being born again is like believing in a parachute, and putting one on. The difference will be seen when you jump. (See Romans 13:14.)

How is one born again? Simply through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Confess and forsake your sins, and trust in Jesus alone for your eternal salvation. When you do, you receive spiritual life through the Holy Spirit who comes to live within you.

I find that the reincarnation "theory" (Karma, reaping what you sow) is a far more comforting and acceptable explanation of what happens after this life.....I don't believe an all loving God would send one to ETERNAL hell. (by the way, buddhism teaches that there are different levels of hell, but that they are not eternal....only until that particular Karmic debt is (pardon the pun) 'burned off'....eventually ALL come to ENLIGHTENMENT after the cycle of birth and re-birth is broken through the accummulation of positive Karma. In other words, All Souls go to "heaven"...eventually.

I think we would all like to believe in it as it will help us to have a pleasant death, knowing that we will return in a more developped and civilised world and death is just a transition from one body to another.

No proof, no knowledge. I cannot believe.

I have no clue of what I was before now. I cant even guess. What will make be believe I will be something else after I die? It is hope for those that fear the reality of death.

  • 1 decade ago

    No.

Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,

  • 1 decade ago

Absolutely NOT! I believe after this I am going to Heaven. No actually I know I am going to Heaven. So it is hard for me to think I could come back to life and have to live life all over as a slug or a tree or anything else for that matter.
