Political Correctness, Life or Death to the USA?
Is Political Correctness what it was meant to be when it started out or has it morfed into sumthing else? I see things that are good hell even great, how ever I see all the things that have limited our Great Nation to the point that we can not even say what we think of our Goverment, or the people who represent us. Our Troops are put in places where they can not open fire on a Hostel unless that Hostel has asalted or attached first, Because we dont want to look like "We" are Racest, Pregedest or Discrimitive to other Races or Religons... Bull Turds! Take the Political Correctness out of what it needs to be taken out of... Everything, You agree?

After giving this a lot of thought I have decided that political correctedness actually keeps every one talking about what to call a problem instead of talking about the problem. It appears to be a terminal condition in the USA. When I see rapists and murderers "get off" because of political correctedness or I see violence and hate crimes acted out because of political correctedness or innocent people killed in an abortion clinic bombing because of political correctedness - I need no further proof that it does not benefit the USA.
Great topic for discussion.

you can never appease everyone and thats what they are trying to do. When two sides disagree you have to pick a side you are then taking away ones rights for the other ones. Its a political conundrum that will definitely cause the demise of this country. Its already started.

Shoot first, ask questions later, eh? Tell me, how are US troops supposed to recognize 'hostels' [sic] before they open fire on them? Maybe they should just gun down everyone.
Other than this, I agree with you. Political correctness has really done nothing more than inhibit honest and open conversation.

the only example you use... the troops not firing on people... has been around for many, many years and doesn't really have anything to do with PC....
