How many US troops have been killed in Iraq to date?

There have been 3,105 coalition deaths, 2,859 Americans, two Australians, 125 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, six Danes, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Fijian, one Hungarian, 32 Italians, one Kazakh, one Latvian, 18 Poles, two Romanians, five Salvadoran, four Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians in the war in Iraq as of November 15, 2006, according to a CNN count.

As of Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at least 2,814 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

too many have been killed, but don't worry, if the liberals have their way, all the troops will be pulled out and we won't have to worry about troops getting killed "on hostile ground."
