Its not greed, it a great idea. I would do the same thing. If people would buy at that price then its not greed.
Oh and the buyers are crazy.

If anyone is that stupid to pay that amount for the machine, the buyer can ask whatever he wants. I think its crazy and i would just wait for more to become available. The same thing happened with the xbox 360. My son had one that he won on the Pepsi 10 contest and got it a week before they were available in the stores. I tried talking him into selling it on ebay and buying one when they came out but he wouldn't do it.

people buying are dumb - there will be plenty of the Play Station 3's in a few months.
people selling are greedy.
1 guy here said he had to buy one so he could sell it to buy Christmas - I wanted to ask him why don't you just take the $500.00 and buy Christmas.
