Blood Stains??
What is the simplest and best way to remove blood from fabric (cotton blend) ??

I use hydrogen peroxide diluted with water. (1 part peroxide, 1 part water) Let the fabric soak for a few minutes, then rinse it out. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times. When it looks like most of the blood is gone, I put on some liquid laundry detergent and rub it in. Then I just wash it.
Just be sure to check the fabric when you take it out of the washer. If all of the blood isn't gone, don't put it in the dryer or the stain will be permanent. Just do the peroxide again.
Hope this helps!

If the stain is fresh, rinse in cold water & let it soak for a bit.
If the stain is old, Oxiclean in HOT water. It doesn't set the stain which is contrary to common sense but I've tried it and it works beautifully. The only thing with the hot water is possibly shrinking the clothing.

Hydrogen peroxide is probably the best, but it needs to be cleaned before the blood dries, and sets in as a permanent stain. It's fairly hard to remove once this happens.

I always use Dawn dish soap and cold water.
Soak the stain in cold water, squirt some Dawn dish washing liquid on the dampened stain and work into a lather rub until the is dissolved , then launder as normal.

Yes, a concentrated solution or even paste of Oxiclean. DO NOT use warm or hot water - it sets the stain.

This might sound gross but it works. Find out who's blood it is, and get them to spit on it, and rub the blood off with their saliva. Apparantly, the enzymes in a persons saliva dissolves their own blood. Ive tried this and it works, but you have to rub it in for a while.
