Microsoft Access - Excel Linking?

I'm trying to link an Access database to mulitple excel files to have a central location to update naming fields. For instance, I have a column for Part Number, Description, Size, Number in a box, etc. in each of these Excel files, and each Excel file is for a different aspect of cost or sale. They must be in separate Excel files, and an full Access database is not what I'm looking for, but I'd like to link the files to one central location so if a part number changes, or I have packaging info change, I can update it in one place and it will update all of the Excel files. The list is the same for each file, I just can't figure out how to link more than one Excel file into the same table so it will update all of them. Can you tell me how to do this?

I am not sure actually if this what you wanted pal.

    1. create a blank database

    2. link all excel files to it ( i assume you know how to do this)

    3. then you will have number of link excel files.

    4. create a simple query where appending all excel files.

    5. you will have single query file of all link excel files.

    6. you can update on this single query file. if you do it correctly.
