WHat is a good homemade gift idea for family for xmas presents?

You can make many edible gifts such as -a banana loaf, wrapped in plastic wrap, then wrap a new dish towel around it tied with a nice ribbon, OR make some jam or jelly and cut out some red material to cover the lid and tie it on with ribbon. You could also bake some cookies wrapped in either a wicker basket (purchased at a dollar store) , cellophane wrap or even a cookie tin. Relish is another option. I make corn relish every year and give at least 2 or 3 jars to my mom-she thinks this is the best gift of all! This year I might make a double batch because she never has enough to last until the next Christmas. Hope these ideas work for you.

I'm having the same problem. I have no money and I want to give my dad something special for Christmas. I talked to him about it and he said he doesn't want anything. I told him that he may not want anything but I want to give him something. He said he would love anything that comes from my heart. Like a homemade card or something. Sorry I couldn't help. while you're reliable at baking, purchase some baking factors and cause them to some selfmade cookies. you may desire to get some ornamental plates or small baskets on the greenback keep to place them in. conceal in sparkling or colourful cellophane wrap, tie with ribbon or a bow and upload a selfmade card or tag.

Bake together and give the cookies or pumpkin cake or what ever you bake . Everyone likes goodies !
