did not pass my driving test...?
I took my first driving test today and did not pass. my critical error was during 'lane change'. now my husband has taught me several times to do it rt but i just dont get it! please share a few good tips to change lanes efficiently esp when there is a car close behind in the other lane and also in heavy traffic..... thnks in advance.

Turn your signal light on and go to the next lane when it's clear. Go fast or slower than the car next to you then switch. Make sure you drive at the lane speed right away.
If there is traffic and it moves slow make eye contact with the driver and show intent of changing lanes. Also shoot for the back corner bumper closes to when you change lane. Usually the one driving behind will be too far away to stop from sneaking if the traffic is moving.

have some lessons with an instructor, they are the best people to show you how it is done, without picking up any bad habits. good luck for next time

Give up. You obviously shouldn't be on the road.
All you have to do is LOOK with your HEAD and not with the whole CAR.....
