Because you are still answering questions. As your best answer total grows, so does your total answers, and therefore your % remains the same.
An example would be 6 best out of 100 answers equals 6%. If you get six more best answers as you answer another 100 questions, your total best would be 12, but your % would still be 6.

your percentage is based on all your answers combined, so if you answer alot of questions, it will stay the same or even go down,,,, if you only answered a few, and received best answer alot, you would have a high percentage

Because your "not best answers" go up as well. You'll learn all about how percentages work in school one day.

You're answering the same number of questions.
If you got 10 best answers out of 100, you'd have 10%.
If you had 20 best answers out of 200, you'd have 10%.
It's all about ratio.
