What were some of the greatest childhood toys you remember from the 80s?

My vote is for the He-Man castle. Wonder what my mom ever did with it? It's probably in a flea market somewhere now.

I still have my Castle Grayskull! It was a good toy, but the orange elevator was a huge dissapointment. I remember I broke it the first few weeks I used it (don't know why they had to make the pivots so cheap).

    Other toys I remember:

    -The Transformers

-The Thruster (it was the Go-Bots ship. It had a light sensor that would sound an alarm when you placed an object infront of it).

    - Lite -Brite

    - Nintendo (with the gun and the mat)

    - Atari 2600 Set

    - Voltron (the lions)

    - Teddy Ruxpin

    My Little Pony

    Barbie

    Lite-Brite

    and don't forget:

    She-Ra!

I bought a My Little Pony the other day. I was feeling nostalgic. They had a very distinctive "plasticky" smell in the 80's. They no longer have that smell I found. I was bummed.

I would have to say it was the Voltron sets. It's hard to decide between the lions or the vehicles set. The lions were just cool, but there were more vehicles to build the robot so it was a little more fun to do.
