Where on the Internet can I find a copy of a Coast Guard report regarding a specific rescue?

I was on a sailboat attempting a Pacific crossing that had to be towed back to Honolulu by the U.S. Coast Guard in 1993. I would like to see a copy of that report for details to 'flesh out' a book I'm thinking of writing.

The United States Coast Guard provides an online database

of Incident Investigation Reports; currently only incidents from 2002 onward. You may be able to find out how to get your report by contacting this website.

Accident reports are for official use only (FOUO). Reports may include ship positions, radio frequencies, CG names, and ID of third parties. CG will not make such information public. For a specific event that you have an interest in, ask the CG for a public releasable copy of the report. Tell them why you need it and what information you are interested in. They may give you an edited report.

Contact USCG Sector Honolulu. They should have a copy on file.
