Is it possible to get someone to just take over car payments.?
I have 2 vehicles and one of them I dont even drive. It just sits there and I start it here and there. Is it possible to put on the market and just have someone take over payments. I dont care about making anything off of it. I pay about $350 a month for it and I dont even drive it. I know it sounds stupid but I live across the street from work now and have no need for 2 vehicles.
I was afraid to tell what type of car and I dont see why it would matter. I bought it when I was stationed in ND because of the AWD but now being stationed in AL it has no purpose. Its an 2002 Pontiac Aztek AWD

It is possible, but you might want to tell what kind of car it is.

You can make a private arrangement but that is never a good idea, even if u hold onto the title of the vehicle. Advertise the fact that you are just looking for someone to take over the payments from you, check with you bank on what the payout amount is and have the purchaser secure a loan in that amount. Once the money changes hands then so does the title.

In order for someone to take over payments, they will get a loan from the bank to purchase the car from you. So you will need to firgure out your selling price, they can't just take over the payments because the car is still in your name.
