Depens on where you go and where you live. Auto Zone is usually the cheapest for the parts.Usually about $80-130. If you want to keep your car for awhile I would recomend going with the lifetime option. Plus they will test your old one. Testing is free.

Alternators vary in price, some are as little as 50.00 on up close to 200.00. From experieces i n the past, I wouldnt install a used alternator. A used alternator may be just as bad as the one being replaced, No need in replacing this thing no more than you need to, especially where they are located on some vehicles. Also when you buy a new alternator you do get some type of warranty

For hells sake, don't get the cheap rebuilt available at Autozone. They come with a 12 month warranty, I had two fail at 13 and 14 months.

$60 - $90. Remember that you will get money back for the core of your old one. There is a lot of copper in it that can be recycled.

I have one, pretty sure that I paid around 89 for it. If you're around southwest Ont. I would let you trade your old one for my newer one. I don't use the car anymore.
