Do you ever get unfair answers??
Example, I answered the questions to a contest and all were right.
I was at the top of the post, but the person below me won. The contest required a name and a title, and nobody had answered to the contest. So I posted the names, before adding in the titles. When I posted the titles a whole 4mins later, three different people had put in what I just posted with the titles - which to me is cheating, since all they had to do was take the names from me a do a search online for the titles. Bogus! So, do you ever get unfair answers on yahoo answers???? I do!
Okay...I'm getting a lot of fire for this I see.
I only mentioned this as an example. It's been happening now more and more. This isn't the first time. This was the point of this question for the jaded idiots who are so quick to point their finger at me.

ya i sure do. i asked for help to find a good home for my dog because my boyfriend is allergic to him and 9 out of 10 people answered...get rid of the boyfriend. How Rude eh!!! I don't know why people waste their time answering if they're not going to offer real help.

OK, first of all, it is not necessary that they are "cheating". They may have been searching the answers even as you were -- I often find myself typing an answer, only to find that by the time I submit it, 6 other people (who hadn't answered before) have put up the identical thing! It happens.
Second -- so what! Life is NOT fair, no one ever said it was, people ALWAYS cheat -- here, as in real life. I don't -- I'm just not like that. But others can, do, and will continue to do so. It's just the way the world is. It really hurts no one when done ON HERE, at least. A few points one way or the other is not the end of the world. Chill and just enjoy this place for the fun it is supposed to be.

How do you know they copied you - maybe the fact that they took longer to answer was because they did the whole lot in one go, instead of posting part of the answer.
Regularly you see people on here who just post a full stop just to get 1st answer, then fill in their post later.
Also, it's up to the user to pick who they think is best, and maybe they saw someone elses full answer while yours was only partly done.

I haven't, but I do get answers that are not only not germane to the question, but are a ranting screed as to why I am a horrible human being for being here

as long as the answer is right, to question the way it was found does'nt seem logical unless it is an exam
