Why Does Yahoo Keep Deleting my Questions?
I used to post the game-match-ups nearly everyday and then ask people who they thought would win. Naturally - the person with the most games won would get the best answer.
I stopped doing it because Yahoo keeps deleting them (after the question is resolved) which takes the points away from the winning person. (I don't give a damn about my own points - which is why I was posting the question)
I find this completely unfair (to you)
I say it's a ligit-question and one that made this board more fun to participate in.
Why would Yahoo do this?

Yeah, I saw those once, and wanted to post, but figured it would be deleted.
Gaming for points under the community guidelines. AND someone may have it in for you in reporting it.
You could probably get away with it if you don't flaunt it so much as a closest wins. You ask who do you think will win these games - seems to me a legitimate question. And picking the closest to actual results seems to me the best answer. Just don't say congratulations or your the winner, etc.

It's a points gaming violation. I tried it a couple of times and they got deleted. I received a warning stating that it was a violation of the "yahoo law". Not only do you get hit the 5 points for asking, they also take 10 away for the violation. Ridiculous. I personally think it's petty.....I liked playing those games you set up JD. I was wondering why you haven't set them up lately.

i do not trust it, yet Wee_Willie is proper - they're technically chat. basically tweak them somewhat of and also you'd be mind-blowing - operating example: Survey for women: If a guy wears a pink blouse do you think he's A. Effeminate B. positive C. horny D. diverse trolls do it for the rationalization that they comprehend the guidelines more beneficial than each body else...

I liked those questions J.D., but I think they have a policy that classifies those questions as "gaming for points" and the net nannies get their nuts in a twist about it.

yahoo, outsourced to 3rd world countries, has workers who do not understand sports in general, and hockey in particular. Many workers report people because of their 3rd world mentality and lack of social acumen, and the other yahoo workers see that the report is coming from another yahoo worker, so they automatically "violate" you.
If you dumb down your questions, they may be able to grasp them.

They do the same to me, I asked Steelers fans how are you today and they erased it, One kid asked a question and it was literally gibberish so I said hey re-write your question and I'll answer it, I got a voilation notice. I don't get it either man

Best guess: It might be considered a point-gaming violation.
In other words, gambling.

i have no idea.. i think the best reason is that they think you were gambling... with points.... who cares that much about those points anyway!!!
i was wondering why you weren't posting those anymore. i was actually looking for them to see who that which teams were gonna win

Maybe it's because you are a flyer fan and they feel you deserve it?
