how do you feel coming to work on friday after thanksgiving holiday?

I don't like it, but I think it is a waste if I take a vacation day for it. A lot of people will take that day off and it will be like it is a holiday for you with everyone gone.

I love "working" the day after Thanksgiving. If gives me an excuse to get out of the in-laws place for a while and nobody ever really gets much of anything done that day anyway, so it's usually really relaxed. I feel bad for my brother though...he works retail and has to deal with the Black Friday ridiculousness.

I learned long ago not to work the day after Thanksgiving. I dunno...I guess I can't function too well when it's practically a ghosttown at work. Not to mention, most everyone else is off on that day and it's kind of a bummer to be the only one working. This will be the first 'day after' I've worked in many years, but it won't be a long day for me...just finish up some stuff, tie up loose ends, etc. as this will be my last day at my current job - starting my new one Monday.

LOL. We get the day before off and the Friday after. Yippee! We also get the Friday off but Wednesday is a nice surprise.

I would hate to have to work the day after Thanksgiving. I want to spend time with my family and friends. I think its great that you have a sunny disposition about it though!

I am staying in town & have to work Friday. I don't like that I have to come in early, but it's not too bad because I am off the following week. It also limits how much you can drink with your turkey..

I wish I didn't have to work the day after but at my job everyone has to work the day after. I always volunteer for the opening shift because it is so crazy busy that time flies and before you know it you are back at home sleeping!!

I take off the Friday after so I can hit the big sales. Plus I can eat my own leftovers all day long.

Thank goodness I don't have to work Friday.

For me it sucks. I can't believe I have to work. The government is so cruel.
