Is the Price to High for Iraq?
The number of soldier deaths hovers around 2800. Granted that is a bad number. But lets look at ww1, ww2, and Vietnam.
Granted you cant see it by mothly numbers. But have a look. Are we really having that much to gripe about.

Agreed Loud. For sure. I was just implying losing any life is bad. Be it war or getting hit by a Drunk driver. I did not have the room to be concise on the first post.

how about 5000 americans in some buildings is better than 3000 soldiers and marines who volunteer and fight for their freedom.
5 times as many soldiers died in normandy on d-day.
is losing a life bad yes, but is it worth what we are fighting for, yes yes yes.

I know, I've been saying the same thing. I said do you think 2800 is bad? Then you don't know the history of the military. When we start losing around 50-80,000 men then you have something to gripe about.

ah here, but they were world wars, they are troops of loads of different country's and it wasnt a one way battle .The war in iraq is only really america and iraq and some brittish but for a war with practically two county's it ia alot,yes.
